Saturday:
Avery and I headed out to the park to hang out with our Sunday school class for a picnic. A few things we learned while at the park: Avery is mesmerized by tennis and Avery loves purses. Both of which I'm ok with.

Naturally we had to go get a purse of her own. Mrs. Lauren's lunch box couldn't come home with us.
Sunday:
Are you ready for this? We left for church 10 minutes early! Early! Who are we!?!?! Avery demonstrated some separation anxiety like a champ when we dropped her off at her Sunday School class. Talk about gut wrenching. When little arms reach out for you and are screaming "Mommmmmma", it's so hard to just walk away. She survived and from the joy on her face when we picked her up, she had a good time.
We matched!
...and she's over it.
Sunday night Jacob won major points with Avery and I and went out and found Frozen on RedBox. Avery watched about 3 minutes total of it, I watched it twice. She'll understand. One day. So good.
Avery's 12 month appointment (...and shots) are late this week, as well as her first Easter Egg hunt. Don't a positive activity and a negative activity cancel each other out? Isn't that how life works? :)
